Our team has expanded! Because of increasing number of patients, Dr. Heike Schröder, specialist in internal medicine is acting in support of specialized practice since January 2012.

Currently we treat about 2200 obese people per quarter in practice.

To guarantee best service for the variety of patients and waiting times in a moderate time frame our team will expand. So we improve practice procedures steadily.

Ms. Sabine Trienes manages support group at DRK (German red cross hospitals) Köpenick every 1^st Thursday of the month at 6pm since October 2010. For more information look at obesity portal www.koepenick.de

Support group at DRK Berlin Mitte takes place every 2^nd Friday of the month at 6.30pm.

Prior registration is not necessary. If interested just come to see us: Meetings are open on a voluntary base without appointments.

We invite speakers who are familiar with disease of overweight every now and then (sports scientist, nutritionists, physicians etc.). Affected people are welcome to look forward to an active exchange of views.

-patients operated (fresh operated patients, patients operated on recently, patients operated long time ago)

- info group (for even non operated patients)

- conservative groups

Appointments for groups have to be fixed with practice by phone. We ask for your understanding that participation only is possible by registration to keep number of participations in an adequate size.
